Payout schedule and timing

Card payments are paid out to your bank account 2 business days after the payment. ACH payments take 4 business days and SEPA payments take 5 business days because bank debits can be reversed during that window.

The first payout after connecting Quillpay is held for 7 days while the account is reviewed. Later payouts follow the normal schedule.

Payouts are made in the currency of your bank account. If a client pays in a different currency, the amount is converted at the mid-market rate plus 1% at the moment of payment.

If a payout is more than 2 business days late, check Settings → Payments → Payouts for a failed status. The most common cause is a bank account that was closed or entered with a typo. Update the account details and the payout is retried automatically within 24 hours.
